Ann has had to swap classrooms with another class as they have more students and less room. It took two days to get everything changed over but they're all settled now.
We’re getting lots of use out of our new chipper.
Peter is slowly working his way through cutting all the hedges and we are managing to chip everything as we go. Much better than having to find somewhere to keep it all until we can hire a chipper. |

Maxie is getting wimpish - now she's 9 she's started to want a blanket in the evening like Jaz.
She's been on more antibiotics and anti-inflammatories because she’s been chewing one of her toes (again). |
Jaz prefers Ann's hot water bottle if she can get it. |

Getting up early (why can't they have a lie in?) they insist on coming into the living room and snuggling down on the beanbags under a blanket and going back to sleep.

The annual bird antics of falling down our chimney into the woodburner have begun early this year. Normally it’s the baby or small birds that fall down the flue and get trapped (which is usually in springtime) but this month we had two adult birds stuck that needed rescuing.
News from home
Both our dad's have been out and about. Peter's dad, John, went on a canal trip around Birmingham with some of his Navy buddies from the nautical club, whilst Ann's dad, Mike, is in Wrexham on holiday with Carol, David and friends.
Nick completed his first open water swim with a time of 24mins and 25 secs.
He swam across lake Windermere and came 70th from more than 4000 competitors. |
