Born: 1877, Pontypool
Married 1907, to Mary Ann Landers
Gunner 12735 Cornelius Lynch joined the Royal Artillery and served on the NW Frontier of India 1897/98.
He must have been a bit of a rebellious soldier as his records show two scuffles with authority:
Tried and imprisoned for 56 days 12 May 1896
Tried and imprisoned for 84 days 26 April 1898
He was awarded the India Medal of 1895 with Punjab Frontier & Tirah clasps
Discharged 25 Dec 1904 after completing 12 years of service
